The K8 smart key cabinet is an electronically controlled steel cabinet that restricts access to keys or key sets, and can only be opened by authorized personnel, providing controoled and automated access for up to 8 keys.
 
K8 keeps a record of key removals and returns – by whom and when. As essential additions to K8 System, smart key fob securely locks in place and monitors keys whether removed so they are always ready for use.

To use the Key system, a user with the correct credentials must log in to the system.
  1. Quickly authenticate via password, proximity card, or biometric face ID; 
  2. Select keys in seconds using convenient search and filter functions;
  3. LED light guide the user to the correct key within the cabinet;
  4. Close the door, and the transaction is recorded for total accountability;
  5. Return keys in time, otherwise alert emails will be sent to administrator.

The Keylongest smart key cabinet can individually lock and control each key or key set, providing high security for sensitive assets. This provides your organization with strict control over who can access each asset and when.

Each key slot is equipped with red and blue dual color LED lights, which conveniently guide users to quickly find the correct position without the need for manual marking one by one.

RFID based key tags are durable, passive, contactless, maintenance-free, and can be quickly identified by the system for accurate and comprehensive auditing of all key logs.

User Authentication

Keylongest provides different types of ways to verify user identity, such as passwords, employee cards, biometric facial recognition (or fingerprints, veins, etc.), and even allows you to combine them to activate two factor authentication for compliance in certain application environments. For example, after scanning the employee card, prompt the user to verify their password to avoid greater losses caused by card theft.
